This fall, Tufts is unveiling the first phase of CoHo, a collection of completely renovated wood-frame homes that represent a new kind of student housing in Medford. CoHo (short for Community Housing) will eventually encompass fourteen buildings, each of them fully furnished. The first five houses opened in September and are now being occupied by forty-five juniors and seniors. In addition to offering all the comforts of home, some of the buildings include green features such as solar panels, heat-recovery systems, and Energy Star appliances.
